Little Amazon Takuapa Tour from Khao Lak (Full Day)

Begin your day with a relaxing canoe boat trip through a magical river overgrown with old Banyan Trees and water palms (Nipa palms). This jungle grows along the small canal of Sung Nae River, also sometimes called the Little Amazon. It gives us a perfect chance to spot wildlife including snakes, monkeys, birds, and crabs. We will look around Takuapa local market on our next stop before heading further to Kuraburi direction. Experience the real serenity of the rainforest by going with us on a jungle trek to Tam-Nang waterfall or Sai Roong waterfall. Be amazed by how a dip in a cool refreshing pool can be and enjoy provided seasonal fresh fruit, snack, and refreshment. A delicious Thai menu will be served at a cozy local restaurant.

Begin your journey with a drive from Khao Lak to Phang Nga’s hidden treasure, the Little Amazon. Step into a canoe and glide along the Sung Nae River beneath towering banyan trees and nipa palms. The jungle atmosphere is magical, and with luck you may spot monkeys, snakes resting in branches, tropical birds, and colorful crabs along the banks. This quiet, untouched forest is the perfect way to start your day.

Continue to Takuapa Local Market, where local life comes alive. Stroll through aisles filled with fresh produce, fragrant spices, and Thai snacks while enjoying the energy and charm of the community. It is a chance to connect with real Thai culture and see life in action.

Next, relax at Rommanee Hot Spring, a peaceful oasis where warm mineral waters invite you to unwind and recharge. Surrounded by natural scenery, it offers a calming break before the next adventure. From there, venture into the rainforest on a guided trek to Tam Nang Waterfall, a dramatic cascade hidden among lush greenery. Take a refreshing swim and enjoy the cool mist of the falls while soaking in the serenity of nature.

Throughout the day, taste seasonal fruit, enjoy snacks, and savor a Thai lunch at a local restaurant. As the tour ends, you will be comfortably transferred back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
